I love taking visitors down through the rain forests and showing them the variety of animals there. I completely redesigned their logo and played off the idea that they have both land and ocean creatures there. When the freedom of creating a multipage book over anything I wanted was given to me, I jumped at the opportunity. The book itself is a perfect bound book and small enough to be comfortably held in your hands. Each page features an illustration of the eight planets in our solar system and brief facts about it’s temperature and size. The main inside spread is an entire overview of the entire galaxy including the different asteroid clusters. I wanted something simple that could be recognized easily. I took my first initials and welded the two letter forms together and created a mark. To add some femininity to the mark, I used my favorite color, seafoam green, as the main color of my branding. Because the mark is so clean and perfect, I wanted the rest of the collateral to be imperfect with rugged edges and organic textures. Rather than getting the materials printed, I got custom made stamps to use on cards and CD covers.
